Fire Rending bow

I just got a 130% Fire Rending bow and did some Tusker plinking with it to compare it with my 150% AR...very nice results. Added about 50% dmg to guards then my AR. Only added about 10% dmg when shooting rampagers though...noticible difference with the higher AL critters

Overall great damage for specialized hunting..did well against the Hollows as well. I'm not a math whiz nor will I do all of the field testing...but the RR's rock for specialized hunting! Just need to add some Mahogany now.

Conclusion(s):

1) My base bow skill of 348 is extremely close to the "Max" Piercing Vuln, which is supposedly "around" a level VI vuln. Appears to only be a few points "off" the max.

2) Max Damage of the Pierce Imbue (at least on these targets, which granted have SOME AL, but I am unsure how much) appears to do considerably more damage than a straight Armor Rending (AR). I will test the Pierce Rending on various other targets (like Banderling Predators, Olthoi Warriors, etc.) as time permits.

3) When combined with (*only*) an Imperil the Pierce Vuln bow *blows away* the AR bow (Well heck, it should!)

As I said, I'll try to get some more data against various other monsters in a bit.

Test against some Banderling Scalpers (High level Banderlings; level 120):

Crit = 103. Therefore Max Damage for my Coord/Base Bow Skill = ~51.5

Again, the Pierce Rending outperformed the Armor Rending by a *significant* margin.

Coordination in this case was buffed to 321, Base Bow skill is still 348. The bows were UNBUFFED (Can shoot more arrows into a single target to get a Crit this way. ) and all arrows shot were again Deadly Armor Piercing.

These new imbues rock.
