To download the files your going to need to register on the site (no biggy)

After you have registerd and clcked "downloads" click "UAS Emulator Files"

Your going to see two options:
Launcher Files
and
Server Files
You want "server files"

After clicking "Server Files" your going to see two more options:
UAS Server Database
and
UAS v1.1.0.0 Server Binary
Your going to want to download *both* of these.

Once downloaded, Extract the files all into one folder.

Setting up the server
Aquiring your IP address is relativley easy.

Click Start > Run > type "cmd"

When the window opens type "IPCONFIG"

A list is going to scroll.

Scroll down and look for "PPP Adapter"
Below that it will look similar to this:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address . . . . . . . . . . . :
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . .:
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . .:



The IP you want to use is going to be next to "IP Address".

Now, if your on a cable or DSL this IP may change between log on's,log off's,or restarts, so make sure.

Now, enter that IP into the "Local Address" part of the server, and leave the Port the same.

Click "Start server" and your all set

If your behind a firewall
To disable the firewall go to network connections and select the proper network adapter for your modem.

Right click it and select Properties > Advanced, and check to see if "Internet Connection Firewall" is checked. If it is, simply uncheck it
and click "Ok".

Connecting to a Running Server
Connecting to a server is as easy as setting one up, all you need to do is download the launcher.

The launcher can be found on the Uas.cc site.

You must be a registed user to download the "launcher Files"

Once downloaded, Extract the launcher files *into* your Asheron's Call folder.

Browse to your Asheron's Call folder and open the file named "Launcher.exe"

Enter the IP Address you used for the server (or got for someone elces),and enter the port number
(default 9002)

Create a new user name and password being sure to not use your .net passport log in

click "Play" and enjoy!

*On the bottom of their webpage you will see the download link*
Open "PrjGenericMDB" from the start menu once installed.

Your going to see a window named "view" inside you will see a list of options, select "Open" . "Open Database".

Browse to your Server Emulator folder and open the file named "UAS_DB.mdb"

A list of selectable options will appear under Tables/Quaries, select "Avatar" and select "Open Table/Query".

A table is going to appear on your screen, your going to want to scroll over til you find the name of the character you want to grant Admin access
to.

Once you find their name (keeping sure which row it is, best bet is to click a box on that row, a little arrow will appear to the left of
the table telling you which row it is) your going to go back over to the front of the table and find "Access Level"

Scroll down til you find the row of the person you wish to grant Admin access to and change the #7 to a #1.

Changing the number to these will result in the following Access levels.

0 - Dev
1 - Admin
2 - Sent

There is no saving required, as any changes you make take effect immediately.

Have the character log out and then back in to see the changes take effect.

And thats it! You have just set up your own server!
